ANDRES CONESA LABASTIDA
Chief Executive Officer, Grupo Aeromexico
CEO of Grupo Aeromexico since December 2005. An active member of the SkyTeam board, President of ALTA since 2013 and a member of the IATA Board of Governors since 2008, which he will lead in 2015; Chairman of CANAERO’s Board in 2013. Prior to his appointment as CEO of Aeromexico, he was Chairman of the Board of CINTRA and held several positions in the Mexican Public Administration including Deputy Undersecretary of Public Credit, General Director for International Financial Affairs and General Director for Economic Policy at the Ministry of Finance. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Massachussets Institute of Technology (MIT) and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). Dr. Conesa was a Fulbright and Ford MacArthur scholar and recipient Mexican National Economic Research Award.

RICARDO SANCHEZ BAKER
Chief Financial Officer, Grupo Aeromexico
Chief Financial Officer of Aeromexico since January 2007. Previously, he served as an advisor of the Chief Executive Officer and as Director of Revenue Management. Dr. Sanchez Baker has an extensive career in the aviation sector: Chairman of the Board of Sabre and President of Seat Technical Committee, as well as member of the Boards of Aeromexpress, Alas de America and Club Premier. Prior to joining Aeromexico, Dr. Sanchez Baker led a distinguished career within the Mexican Government, where he served as Deputy General Director for Public Debt, Director of Financial Planning, and Head of Investor Relations. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), a Finance diploma from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and bachelor’s degree from Universidad Iberoamericana.
ANKO VAN DER WERFF
Chief Revenue Officer, Grupo Aeromexico
Executive Director of Revenue at Aeromexico since May 2014. Mr. van der Werff has an extensive career in the airline industry: prior to his appointment he worked at Qatar Aiways contributing in several areas, as Senior VP of Pricing & Revenue Management and before that as Senior VP of Global Sales & Distribution. He worked in Revenue Management for the KLM/Northwest joint venture, where he developed international commercial experience working in KLM in Italy and Air France-KLM in both Sweden and the UK. He holds a master’s degree from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Leiden University in the Netherlands; Mr. van der Werff is also a regular guest lecturer at various universities, such as Cranfield in the UK, Bad Honnef in Germany and Texas A&M in Qatar.
Chief Operating Officer, Grupo Aeromexico
Corneel Koster joined Aeromexico in September 2013 as Chief Operating Officer, in charge of all operational and maintenance activities of both group airlines. Corneel is responsible to deliver world-class operations, service and maintenance standards, while he now also heads up customer experience. He has a wealth of experience in international aviation, having previously fulfilled operational as well as commercial senior roles, such as: Director of Operations, Safety and Security and a member of the Board of Directors of Virgin Atlantic between 2010 and 2013. In 2009, Corneel led the merger of two Air France-KLM subsidiary companies in London to form Cobalt Ground Solutions Ltd, and became this first ever Air France-KLM merged entity´s Managing Director. Corneel has also been active in cargo and passenger commercial senior regional management roles in Africa, Middle-East and Asia for KLM and Air France-KLM. Corneel holds an MSc in Business Administration from the Groningen University in the Netherlands.
SERGIO ALLARD BARROSO
Chief Human Resources Officer, Grupo Aeromexico
Executive Director of Talent and Institutional Relations at Aeromexico since May 2014. Mr. Allard has an extensive career in the airline industry and thorough experience in the sector. Prior to this appointment, he acted as Executive Commercial VP at Aeromexico since 2010. He served as Chief Commercial Officer for Spanair in Madrid from 2007 to 2009 and held various positions during his nineteen year tenure at Mexicana de Aviación, including Executive Commercial Director for Mexico and Latin America and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. He holds a bachelor’s degree of Actuarial sciences from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), a diploma from Harvard Business School in Competition and Strategy and a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance Engineering from La Salle University (ULSA).
