New Baggage Policy
This baggage policy change will apply to all Main Cabin reservations paid for on or after February 1, 2017 for all flights between Mexico and the U.S. and Canada.
With this new policy you pay only for what you need.
As of February 1, 2017 a new baggage policy will be effected on flights between Mexico and the United States or Canada, which will include a fee for the first piece of checked baggage. This policy will not apply to any flights purchased before February 1, 2017.
Changes to flights may result in additional baggage fees. Fees are as follows: $ 500 MXN, 25 USD and 25 CAD when payment is made at the airport counters of Mexico, United States and Canada respectively and $ 400 MXN, 20 USD and 20CAD when pre-purchased through our website, call center and ticket offices.
Our Club Premier Titanium, Platinum and Gold partners, SkyTeam Elite, Elite Plus, American Express Aeromexico Platinum and Santander Aeromexico Infinite cardholders will also be exempt from this fee.
With this new policy we align with the international trend of allowing you to decide which additional services you wish to pay for during your trip. This way, you only pay for what you need!
