Traveling while sick or pregnant?
Pregnant women in their third trimester and passengers at risk of serious illness or complication in flight must provide the following documentation:
- Medical Certificate or permission-to-travel dated within five days prior to flight for women traveling during the third trimester (30-37 weeks or seven months) or with a pregnancy considered high risk. Aeromexico does not accept passengers after the 38th week of pregnancy.
- Sick passengers and visibly pregnant women (regardless of the month of pregnancy), or a relative, must sign a disclaimer at check-in.
- Passengers with a medical condition traveling to Mexico, must present a Medical Certificate issued by the Health Care Authority of their country of origin and endorsed by the corresponding Mexican Consular Authorities clarifying that they show no signs of infectious diseases such as cholera, plague, and yellow fever, or any other illness classified as such by the World Health Organization.
The Customer Notification Form is intended to facilitate the process of providing personal information and can be obtained at the check-in counters.
